Empowerdance was established in 2010 by Gabrielle Robinson, a dancer, teacher, studio owner and dance industry trailblazer with over 30 years of experience in the studio.

Wanting to empower her students with higher education and qualifications and finding a gap in the market, Gabrielle took Empowerdance through the long and complex process of becoming a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) allowing her to create assessments that she knew her students would love engaging in.

After 10 years of watching our own students thrive and benefit from gaining industry relevant qualifications, the Empowerdance team recognised the need for our fun, engaging and Nationally Recognised courses in the wider dance and movement industries and our Partnerships program was launched in 2017. 

We are now expanding our programs into New Zealand, bringing our courses and support to even more dance educators and students.
